Functions in our group include safety, project field management, construction management, quality control, start up and decommissioning and field engineering. #LI-KC1 #FleetManager #constructionProvides management support and oversite with fleet management programs such as the driver compliance program, vehicle maintenance requirements, meeting or exceeding the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety administration (FMCSA) regulations. Ensures an accurate, efficient, and affective titling, licensure, renewal, and fuel tax reporting program of BV fleet operation assets. Leads the optimization of fleet software programs to capture, analyze, and report fleet asset cost and performance. Oversees the asset accident management program for owned and rented assets by Black and Veatch. Manages communication of BV Fleet Operations department policies, procedures, to the internal clients of BV overall.Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the management, oversite, and compliance of driver reporting requirements of the DOT and FMCSA.

Ensures a proper driver logging program, that captures and reports driver hours of service as it relates to interstate commerce.

Oversees the maintenance inspection program that meets or exceeds DOT and FMCSA requirements.

Maintains robust fleet asset software systems, to capture and report accurate fleet asset inventory, costs, performance, driver compliance, and maintenance scheduling.

Manages fleet asset licensing, International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA), and the registration program for BV owned assets.

Oversees the accident management program, aligning with safety, legal, and insurance.

Manages the fuel card program to capture the fuel usage by BV.

Manages the departments communication strategy to effectively communicate BV Fleet polices, procedures, and overall mission of the department.

Supervises, trains, and evaluates assigned staff in system administration, driver reviews and compliance, license renewals, fuel cards, and equipment.

Related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technical, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)

Relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.

Construction Fleet Management experience

Global experience preferred.
